MANILA, Philippines — Impeached Vice President Sara Duterte is welcome to visit Camp Crame and see the technology procured by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for increased visibility.

PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III extended the invitation after Duterte said the police should take advantage of technology instead of deploying police officers on the streets to boost peace and order.

Torre recalled Duterte saw drones and body-worn cameras back when she was a guest of honor at Camp Karingal in Quezon City.

Duterte’s criticisms would help improve the PNP, he noted.
