WATCH: Cockroach interrupts Duterte's speech in Bohol

MANILA, Philippines — A cockroach crawled on President Rodrigo Duterte while he delivered a speech late Wednesday.

Duterte was commending some senatorial bets during a campaign rally when the insect landed on his shoulder. His aide immediately approached him to remove the insect.

But Duterte was unfazed and continued his speech, adding in jest that the insect was a member of the Liberal Party, which is fielding an opposition senatorial slate in Monday's elections.
