MANILA, Philippines — Singer-songwriter Kean Cipriano believes that voter education is important in choosing the country's next leaders.

In an episode of Philstar.com’s Lifestyle & Entertainment show “Slam Book,” Kean said voter education is everything.

"It's everything. Ang laking bagay kung 'yung mga botante ay naga-guide sila kung anong tamang gawin bilang which is to exercise the right to vote,” Kean said.

“Kahit ano pang pinapaniwalaan mong political... kailangang bumoto ka. Vote wisely.

Kean recently released the song “Botante Importante,” a song about why every vote in an election is important.

'Yung isang boto mo, super powerful,” he said.

Kean encouraged every Filipino to vote and select the best and deserving leaders with his advocacy song, a hard hitting, no fuss, and straight-to-the-point song released under O/C Records.
