Purple was the stand-out color of the night. Glitz and glam were evident in the red-carpet garb of the star-studded line-up of artists who graced the first annual Bingo Plus Night.

SB19’s Josh Cullen started the performances rolling as he rendered his first solo single, Wild Tonight.

Real-life couple Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia danced together for the first time onstage to Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved. It will be remembered that Billy became the grand champion in France’s Dancing With the Stars (Danse avec les Stars). He merely displayed his winning moves, this time with his better half.

Performing during the event are singers (from left) Janine Berdin, Kim Molina and Katrina Velarde.

Erstwhile Hashtags members McCoy de Leon, Wilbert Ross and Nikko Natividad danced together after a long while to Nadine Lustre’s Paligoy-Ligoy, as well as Sarah Geronimo’s Tala and Ikot-Ikot, where they were joined by young actress Bea Binene.

All-female group PPop Gen ignited the stage with their single, Prinsesa, followed by the pop quintet song-and-dance group, Alamat, rendered their newest single, Maharani.

Katrina Velarde, Janine Berdin and Kim Molina had their respective spot numbers.

Regine Velasquez belted out her version of Ryan Cayabyab’s Araw Gabi.

Vice Ganda wrapped up the entertainment numbers with Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance with Somebody.

Bingo Plus host Luis Manzano couldn’t be any more thankful that the online game show has reached a year.

“All the prizes that will be given away and all the charity that Bingo Plus will help will be revealed,” said Luis. “Aside from giving fun and prizes, it’s always about the lives that Bingo Plus gets to touch.”

“It’s nice when you have people around you and you grow together. I am very excited to see how many more years we will present Bingo Plus for our kababayan.”

“I prepared 86 songs in a medley, so I am ready to perform,” Luis teased.

Bingo games that were normally being held in malls and casinos became scarce when the global pandemic started.

Early last year, however, Bingo Plus, mounted by Viva started online and players had to safely play at home in the first live streaming bingo in the country.

The jackpot can go as high as P54 million. Players are enticed to choose their lucky bingo cards and do the game live.

Bingo Plus is the first and only live streaming bingo in the Philippines.

A lucky entertainment writer has been a regular Bingo Plus player, especially when she finds it hard to sleep at night. She was fortunate enough to win P195,000 last year.

Luis and Maine Mendoza are the regular hosts of Bingo Plus online.
