Debbie Garcia denies relationship with Diego Loyzaga, addresses Barbie Imperial assault
MANILA, Philippines — Sexy star Debbie Garcia clarified that she and actor Diego Loyzaga are just friends.
It can be recalled that jealousy was the alleged reason why Diego’s ex-girlfriend Barbie Imperial allegedly attacked Debbie in a bar in Quezon City recently.
“We’re not together po. We’re friends po. Magkaibigan po kami ni Diego,” Debbie told MJ Marfori in an interview posted on TikTok.
“Ang dami pong nagsi-circulate na mga kwento, hindi naman ‘yun ang totoong nangyari. Good thing noong gabing ‘yon, nagpa-medico legal ako tsaka nagpa-blotter po ako. Kumpleto po kami para po kung ano man ang mga ini-speculate ng mga tao,” she added.

Debbbie also clarified that she never provoked Barbie that night. She only wanted to “beso” her for courtesy.
“Never po. Wala po akong any intention na ganoon kasi lahat po ng mga kaibigan ko nandoon. Ang saya saya po namin noong night na ‘yun. Lahat nga po masaya kasi wala nang tensyon, and nasa iisang table kami. So wala talaga. We didn’t expect it,” she said.
“Tao akong lumapit sa kanya. Bebeso lang ako. Siyempre courtesy ‘no, pagdating niya, nauna ako doon. I said hi kasi hindi naman tayo bastos. Noong pauwi ako, ang plan ko lang is to say bye to everyone kasi mga kaibigan ko po ‘yon, business partners. So ‘yung intention ko is really good. Walang anything po. So nagulat rin po ako na ganoon po ang reaction niya,” she added.

The sexy actress filed a slight physical injuries case against the Kapamilya actress.
Apart from the slight physical injuries case, the Viva starlet also filed grave oral defamation and grave slander by deed against Barbie.
According to reports, the confrontation between the two happened in Tipsy Pig Gastropub in Quezon City last October 28.
