Kathryn Bernardo not ready for Darna?

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo is a fan of iconic super hero Darna.

Though she is thankful for being considered for the role which generations of top actresses have portrayed through the years, it seems the 21-year-old actress is not ready for it yet.

“I believe everything has a perfect timing,” she said at the blog con of hers and Daniel Padilla’s upcoming romantic comedy, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

She explained that the upcoming fantasy series, “La Luna Sangre,” was offered to her way back 2013 when she and Daniel did the movie, “Got to Believe.” And now that she and Daniel will start working on “La Luna” after “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” Kathryn said she must first make sure she is ready to give her “all,” so she will not disappoint fans.

Still, Kathryn said she is not closing her doors on playing the character Mars Ravelo immortalized.

She said she would rather focus on her upcoming movie, which opens on Black Saturday, April 15, in cinemas nationwide.
