WATCH: Sam Smith, John Legend sing amazing duet for charity

MANILA, Philippines - Best duet ever!

Grammy winner Sam Smith and Oscar winner John Legend have teamed up to record a duet of Smith's hit "Lay Me Down" for the upcoming Comic Relief special.

The songs will serve as the official theme of the "Red Nose Day," an event in UK where residents put on clown noses or do something funny for charity. According to the website, the money raised by the event will be used to help people living tough lives across the UK and Africa.

The song is now available in iTunes.The two will perform their duet live for the first and only time on March 13th at the live Comic Relief at London's Palladium.

Meanwhile, Vevo has released a video of the song  featuring Smith and Legend coupled with images from African communities which Comic Relief  has helped.
