Newfound powers on Captain Barbell

MANILA, Philippines - As the new league of superheroes on GMA 7’s Captain Barbell continues to discover their newfound gifts, the question of whether to use them for good or evil inevitably arises.

Blade Girl (Bea Binene) is skeptical about her brother Teban (Mike Tan) and suspects him of also possessing superpowers. Will she prove herself right and when she does, can Blade Girl convince Teban to harness his powers for good?

Meanwhile, the Liga ng Kalayaan led by Captain Barbell (Richard Gutierrez), and Nero’s (Christopher de Leon) group both fail to capture the most elusive of the superheroes, Kat (Ellen Adarna), who remains uncertain as to which side she should take.

Through the arduous cat-and-mouse chase, Nero and Gregor (TJ Trinidad) will decide to join forces and form what is to be known as the Puwersa ng Kasamaan.

With their combined superpowers and rage towards Captain Barbell, Nero and Gregor embark on their first mission and that is to attack Manila Bay, where Teng’s (Richard) adopted daughter Lelay (Jillian Ward) is having her school field trip. Will Captain Barbell and his new colleagues save the day before the supervillains do their damage?

Finally, Teng tries to fight back his feelings for Althea (Lovi Poe) as he feels that his heart only belongs to his dead girlfriend Leah (Rhian Ramos). A startling discovery will make him feel otherwise.
