Nikon Photographer of the Year

MANILA, Philippines - A ceiling of the San Sebastian church, a lonely highway, a trash can at a mall are some of the impressive shots taken by Erick Camps (photo) which when accumulated earned him the title Photographer of the Year (2010) in the recently-concluded photo contest sponsored by Nikon Club Philippines.

Aside from the award the Excel supervisor bagged at the awards night held at Ibarra Restaurant recently, Camps also received a Nikon D90 body, courtesy of Anderson Tan, president of Columbia Digital Star Corp.

Inspired by the silhouette nude shot of Eula Valdez by Jim Paredes, Camps hopes to concentrate more on portraiture and events.
