Wish come true at Enchanted Kingdom

The Philippine Star

Enchanted Kingdom (EK) turned many children’s wishes into reality last Dec. 21 in a gift-giving event for victims of Ondoy. The event, dubbed as EK’s Make An Enchanting Wish Come True, was led by VP for sales and marketing Cynthia Mamon.

A Mass started the program. Kids were treated to a day of fun, games, snacks, gift-giving and storytelling led by Mamon.

Children living in resettlement areas in Laguna (Bae, Cabuyao, Calamba, Sta. Rosa and Los Baños) were asked individually what their deepest wishes was this Christmas. While most children would wish for toys, Violy Villagonza, six, wished for medicine for her bedridden grandmother. EK made a way for a simple wish to come true. Violy could not find the words to thank EK and cried as she received her Christmas gift.

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility campaign, EK teamed up with like-minded groups and personalities to make the children’s visit memorable. Donors were Dunkin’ Donuts, Cotton Candy, Pizza Hut, Hotshots, San Miguel, Selecta, Thumbs Up, Vamsler, Careline, Ever Bilena, Noose Footwear, Mayor Arlene Arcillas Nazareno of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Myrna Yao of Barbie Philippines and Marvie Lim and family.
