Nike unveils Alex Eala’s US Open kit, official shirt
MANILA, Philippines — Alex Eala will be stylin’ and profilin’ in the US Open.
Eala has unveiled her tennis kit for the upcoming US Open, where she will be donning a blue dress in the Grand Slam.
The 21-year-old Filipina posted the blue Nike dress on her official Instagram account.
The dress is being sold for $140, or more than P8,600.
Nike also announced an official Alex Eala shirt worth $42, or almost P2,600.
The black shirt, which has flower details and “Alex Eala” on the back, is still yet to be released.
The apparel could be ordered online, although a local release is yet to be announced.
Eala, who is currently at a career-high World No. 18 in the live rankings, will play in her second US Open main draw this year.
She reached the second round last year but she fell against Cristina Bucsa.
But now, she aims to go on a deeper run.
She is coming off a third-round exit from the Cincinnati Open, losing to Amanda Anisimova on Tuesday (Manila time).
The US Open is set to start by month’s end.
