Bolongan shines in Karam-bowling
CEBU, Philippines - Luke Bolongan toppled down 885 pins to reign supreme in the last weekly Karambowling event for January over the weekend at Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.
Clifford Tan placed second with 829 pins, while Bel Suelto, the newly-installed Bowlingplex Tenpin Association president, came out third with 807 pins.
Rounding up the top 10 were Inday Aguilar (781), Clarence Tiu (776), Charly Michael (764), Vivian Padawan (761), Razel Silva Nilsen (749), Tony Teano (742) and Bo Co (738).
With his win, Bolongan now shares the leaderboard with Clarence Tiu in the race for 'Bowler of the Year' award. They both have seven points.
Breathing down their necks is Rey Velarde with six points, while Clifford Tan, Wilbert Yu and Charly Michael are at joint fourth to sixth spots with five points apiece. — (FREEMAN)
