San Remigio hosts triathlon event

CEBU, Philippines -  The Cebu Loves Triathlon Team Championship Series unfolds today with the trikids action at the San Remigio Cultural and Leisure Center.

Around 30 kids spread in different age groups are expected to strut their wares in this three-in-one sports.

The team competition will take place tomorrow yet at the Lapyahan Beach Resort.

On the other hand, a total of 150 athletes will compete in the individual contest and five teams in the relay event.

Organized by Sugbu Triathlon, the two-day joust is fully supported by the local government of San Remigio under the leadership of Mayor Jay Olivar. (FREEMAN)
