CBA games shifts to Medellin tonight
CEBU, Philippines - The games of the 1st M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Basketball Association (MLKP-CBA) season will be brought to the northern Cebu town of Medellin tonight with topseeds Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Skyblazers and the Ave Maria Sanctuary Park going up against separate foes tonight at the town's covered court.

The Skyblazers, whose four straight victories were put to a halt last Sunday by the Asian College of Technology (ACT) Cyber Knights, 84-91, hope to score a repeat over the unpredictable Talisay City in the first game at 6:30 pm.
In the main match, Ave Maria also seeks to assert its dominance over the Cyber Knights, whom it defeated in the first round, 78-73.
The Skyblazers have the finest players in the tournament led by 6-foot-8 center Rino Berami, Stephen Padilla and Mark Abadia, while Talisay could rely on Jayford Rodriguez and Ferdinand Lusdoc.
On the other hand, Ave Maria, also toting a 4-1 win-loss record, will be bannered by ex-pros Jercules Tangkay and Danny Aying along with the likes of Alex Cainglet, Ope Abellana, Aldrin Ocañada, Gerry Cavan, Enrico Llanto, Kurt Amores, Manniue Gabas and Jabe Delfino.
The Cyber Knights, for their part, will squeeze the most from Alano Caputolan, John Villaver, Bernie Ursal, Abe Galinato, Michael Luga, Randy Sevilla and Ronaldo Bucao among others. (FREEMAN)
