Habstarken dominates Talisay softball

CEBU, Philippines - Team Habstarken pounded the hapless Liloan at will, 11-1, to snatch the championship of the 2009 Mayor’s Cup Softball Tournament in Talisay City the other day.

Liloan was able to score only in the first inning, enabling Habstarken to stage a one-sided demolition up to the seventh and final inning.

Habstarken logged three runs in the first canto, then followed it up with two runs in the third before pulling off a four-run homer courtesy of Rey Sadaya.

Habstarken did not score in the sixth inning, but sealed its bid with two runs including another homerun from the red-hot Sadaya.
