Rich Media, Mandaue Jaycees-A share lead in JBA

CEBU, Philippines – Rich Media of Richard Mercado drubbed the Mack Mayer Printers, 83-75, while Mandaue Jaycees Team A annihilated Arcason & Sons Construction and Development Corp., 104-63, in the Jaycees Basketball Association (JBA) 2009 First Conference, which shifted action to the USPF gym in Brgy. Lahug, this city.

Rich Media and Mandaue Jaycees-A, thus, currently share the overall lead with similar 4-1 win-loss-records.

It was a close encounter for most of the way until Edmund Odulio and Beboy Potencioso caught fire in the final quarter where they sparked a 21-14 rally to vault Rich Media to victory.

Odulio led Rich Media with 22 points, while Potencioso added 12.

Earlier, Joshua Lerio tallied 24 points and Edgar Colina banged in 22 markers for Mandaue-A.

Dexter So topped Arcason with 20 markers followed by Kent Kangleon with 15.
