Gothong, Tecson rule BTA monthly
CEBU, Philippines - Jun-jun Gothong and Leo Tecson emerged as the joint bowler of the month for January and February in the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Monthly Series at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Brgy. Banilad,this city.
Gothong emerged as February’s best after topping the combined January-February tilt with 1,699 pinfalls. Tecson finished second with 1, 615 pins.
Clark Tiu was 15 pins behind Tecson to settle for third.
Xyrra Cabusas came out fourth with 1, 590, while Wilbert Tiu landed fifth with 1, 583 pins.
The sixth to 10th placers in the first BTA monthly of 2009 were Bel Suelto (1, 571), Jomar Jumapao (1, 563), Clarence Tiu (1, 537), Andrew Yap (1, 535) and Lolong Uy (1, 428).
Event organizer Elvis Lee explained that because of Bowlingplex’s hectic lineup of activities, their monthly event for BTA members had been delayed.
