CIIB nips Park 'N Go in FYA

CEBU, Philippines - Frankie Capangpangan exploded with 28 points and Roy Carl Veloso scored 25 as the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Bureau (CIIB) whacked Park ‘N Go Bakeshop, 92-79, in the F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) 1st Vice Mayor Mike Rama Cup at the Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Gym in Brgy. Punta Princesa, this city.

 Arnel Maglinte chipped in 15 points in CIIB’s 13-point romp of Park ‘N Go, which drew 13 points apiece form Carl Rama, Kevin Camacho and Rocky Bas.

In the other game, Team Jayra won by default over the Viking Haulers, who showed up with only seven players.

Before the FYA games, the Mactan Hotmen of coach Dacky Ugay stunned Team Pacman of Jingjing Rama, 93-92, in an exhibition match that was only decided by the split charities of Arnel Factor.

Jumie Ararao had 17 points for the Hotmen, while ex-UC Webmasters pointguard Kenneth Kern Sesante contributed 12 markers.

Former USC Warrior Leon Floro Eleazar scored 33 points for Pacman followed by erstwhile UV Lancer Rene Toring with 25 points and Christopher Rama with 16.
