CEPCA chess tilts today

The Cebu Executives and Professional Chess Association (CEPCA) holds two events today at the Stella Maris Sea fairer at Pier 4.

The two events set today are the association's Monthly Handicapping Chess Tournament and the first Open Kiddies Chess tournament.

The Kiddies' action will be open to youngsters born from 1992 and onwards. The kids will be playing five rounds following the Swiss system format.

The champion in the event will be pocketing P700 while the second placer gets P500. The third to fifth placers, on the other hand, will have P300, P200 and P100, respectively.
