All venues are supervised by the Liga ng mga Barangay-Cebu City under Liga ng mga Barangay President Franklyn Ong, in coordination with the NCSC and the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs.

The Expanded Centenarian Program was introduced to broaden the government’s recognition of senior citizens, extending benefits not only to centenarians but also to octogenarians (80+) and nonagenarians (90+).

Qualified beneficiaries who submitted complete requirements and were officially notified are entitled to financial assistance.

The Expanded Centenarian Program provides additional recognition, with octogenarians, nonagenarians, and centenarians receiving lump-sum benefits ranging from ?10,000 to ?100,000, depending on age bracket and qualification.

Hundreds of Cebu City seniors are expected to benefit from this round of distribution in addition to the financial aid they are receiving from the City government.

Beneficiaries must present their OSCA ID and, if available, their national ID, along with photocopies bearing three signature specimens.

Representatives may claim on behalf of bedridden or admitted seniors, provided they submit authorization letters, valid IDs, medical or barangay certifications, and proof of life.

For deceased grantees, immediate relatives may claim upon presenting a death certificate, proof of relationship, and a release from liability form. — (FREEMAN)
