CEBU, Philippines - The Jose “Dodong” R. Gullas HALAD 2010 played out Wednesday night to a full house at the Water-front Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug. The hugely successful third in a series of commemorative concerts conceived by Gullas to give honor and recognition to Cebu’s greatest composers of Cebuano music and to promote Cebuano culture featured Cebuano artists Pilita Corrales, Dulce, Raki Vega and the world-renowned University of the Visayas Chorale.

UV dance and dramatics students also gave performances depicting long lost Cebuano cultural traditions that the Halad series seek to revive. (FREEMAN NEWS)
