Dilaab launches "Pwede Pala Pinoy"

-

CEBU - The Dilaab Foundation, Inc. launched yesterday the “Pwede Pala Pinoy” program which is a telling, sharing, and retelling of largely untold and inspiring stories of faith-impelled work promoting the common good set on November 29.

PPP will highlight inspiring stories in a festive setting; stories that are “about unlikely collaborations that go beyond well-defined boundaries which often suppress the spirit of unity,” Dilaab said.

It shall also give chance to people particularly the students, church groups, government, people’s organizations, and the private sector a chance to interact personally with individuals.

Through this, “we are igniting spaces of hope for ourselves as ordinary citizens as said in Matthew 5:16, “let your light shine before all, that they may see goodness in your acts and give praise to your Father in heaven”,” according to Dilaab.

The event will be held at the Sacred Heart School-Jesuits Gymnasium and is open to all individuals of all ages.

There are three segments prepared geared towards sharing and replicating of good values and practices.

There will be a conference where individuals and groups will gather for an in-depth discussion of templates, lessons and tips through talks and open fora.

In the Festival of Booths, individuals, families and groups can hop from one booth to another where each booth features a story as told by the main characters. Participants may take pictures, have autographs signed or simply have a chat with these everyday heroes.

The Kalingawan segment goes beyond the typical Saturday night production according to Dilaab. The best of the Filipino spirit shall be shown in theatrical skits, dance, songs, raffle games, and food.

Prior to the event, different activities were held and scheduled. Dilaab will be conducting school hopping on November 5, 12, 19, and 26.
