Feng Shui for Basketball Teams!

NONON-SENSE FENGSHUI - Master Aldric Dalumpines - The Freeman

Basketball is so popular in the Philippines. It may even beat gossip as a national sport. But a silent johnny-come-lately trick of the trade I noted in the caging events - be it in the pro league or collegiate amateur teams - is the urban legend of many a championship team aided by feng shui principles.

From my personal knowledge, feng shui influence stems from three major sources of applications: from team owner, from team coach, from a team player normally. Often unknown or known to team members, these factors fuse collectively in motion, too.

Nowadays, it is a new normal for cutting-edge teams to be formally feng shuied at the request of the team managements. What does feng shui offer in this game James Naismith invented as a team sport?

Competitive advantage.

Just like in corporate warfare, feng shui can give that intangible life energy stream of powerful significance that translates to luck with ease in the thick of competition! Players can be at the right place, right timing to deliver crucial baskets and score for the aimed for victory.

It is urban legend in Manila hoops that teams a certain tycoon handles be it collegiate or pro league are feng shuied accordingly! Now modesty aside, allow yours truly to share a few personal experiences:

One time the sons of the tycoon invited me to a PBA game in Pasig City. The eldest asked me if feng shui can make them win against the San Miguel team. Negative was my reply. "Why?" he asked. Because I have already feng shuied the opponent coach. He laughed me off.

We watched the game and they lost. The son was surprised as he saw, right after the game, that the winning opponent coach humbly approached me and shook my hands, thanking me: "Salamat sa feng shui mo!"

His feng shui was an epic story. A neighbor of his in Acropolis, Libis village referred me to his wife who was frantic about his coaching career. Rumor had it he was about to be replaced by Ron Jacobs if he still failed to deliver in the next game of their team. All it took us to do was remove the pictures of his team from under the beam of his staircase and add an Arowana mascot to his backyard pond.

Then the rest was history. San Miguel lost the next game but exposed on television the goat of the team who always insubordinated and didn't respect him as coach! Now the team management understood visually and viscerally. That bad player resigned after the game as even fans outcast him with ostracism. The coach remained and steered the team to grand slams there after! His garage of cars (he got as bonuses) spilled into the village street over the years, too!

This is how basketball can be influenced by feng shui. Not to mention the successful basketball careers of pro players like RJ Rizada and Arwin Santos, as well as college teams supported by feng shui master fans! Happy footnotes were La Salle's win over UST last year and recently, with a lucky number score of 88 points nipped archrival Ateneo by 2 easy points in the last 2 minutes to even their UAAP standings!

It is also urban legend how way back, taking care of arowana even in gym locker rooms has brought career luck to teams like Northern Cement.

Now you know. Shoot or get that ball; it's not even only how you play the game - but how the lucky energies of chi plays into your games as a basketball team!

Sisboombah! Feng Shui Rah! Enjoy the games of your life! And don't forget to feng shui accordingly! Victory awaits your destiny.
