Cianne Dominguez drops debut EP ‘Gumamellow’

CEBU, Philippines —  “It’s Showtime” host Cianne Dominguez captures the highs and lows of romance in her debut extended play (EP) “Gumamellow,” available on various streaming platforms.

The five-track mini album combines the words gumamela and mellow to depict the feminine and sweet side of Cianne’s music.

It features three new tracks, “Gumamellow,” “Layag,” “Sikreto,” and her previously released singles “Traffic” and “Shot Puno.” All songs were composed and produced by her “It’s Showtime” co-host Teddy Corpuz.

In the EP’s key track “Layag,” Cianne describes her passionate love as sailing through the ocean waves with her special someone. The song landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Philippines playlist.

The StarPop artist released her first music offering, “Traffic,” last year. Early this year, dropped her Valentine’s offering “Shot Puno,” a relatable track on getting tipsy in love.

Prior to her music career, Cianne displayed her qualities as a beauty queen in the “It’s Showtime” segment “Sexy Babe” where she became a grand finalist and later on a mainstay of the noontime program.
