Globe's "One Call" service targets SMEs

CEBU, Philippines - Globe Telecoms recently introduced a hassle-free communication service for the corporate market dubbed “One Call,” to grab a significant market share among the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

Globe Telecom executives led by Emmanuel A. Aligada, head for corporate and SME Business Group, was in Cebu recently to offer this innovative service to companies.

“One Call” is the first and so far the only virtual trunk-line service in the Philippines. It is   specially designed office mobility solution for corporations and SMEs that enables people to collectively stay connected at anytime with just one landline number.

While the battleground for providing telecommunication services is very stiff in the Philippines, Aligada said Globe is ready to address the various and specific needs of companies, especially the SMEs, which comprise about 99 percent of the total business profile in the country.

This new service which offer only a one-bill package for a company’s telecommunication needs combining landline and mobile connectivity, is seen to seize business within the network, thus boosting the company’s revenue generation.

“We are going into the realm where [telecommunication] players look for the [distinct] requirement for the businesses and look for solutions. All of them have some form of telephony requirement, some are even confuse from using personal use or for business,” Aligada said.

He said Globe Telecom is stepping forward to engage the SMEs very strongly, providing these segment total and affordable solutions for telecommunication needs.

Significantly, this offer also boost the revenue generation for Globe, “because it keeps the calls within our network.”

Today, more than ever, companies are very conscious in losing their customers. Aligada said this service is designed to keep companies’ competitive, so that everybody in the company will be reachable in one unique number only.

A package of one number with five extension lines through post paid or pre-paid Globe mobile service is only pegged at P999 a month. One subscription with at least 25 extension mobile lines is however cheaper with P799 monthly charge. —Ehda M. Dagooc
