CLI acquires property for largest integrated township in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI), a real estate developer focused in the Visayas and Mindanao, has acquired a 79-hectare site in Cebu to expand its housing pipeline.
CLI said the acquisition, which was made through its joint venture subsidiary Cebu Homegrown Developers Inc. (CHDI) with Ixidor Holdings Inc., would significantly expand its landbank and reinforce its pipeline of future developments.
The company said the acquisition also marks a strategic move in its growth roadmap by addressing the strong and sustained housing demand across its core markets, particularly in Visayas and Mindanao.
“This acquisition substantially deepens our Cebu footprint and advances our mission to create leading townships in the VisMin region, following the success of the Davao Global Township in Davao City and Manresa Town in Cagayan de Oro City,” CLI chairman and CEO Jose Soberano III said.
CLI said the Liloan estate would be the largest integrated township in Cebu, with a multi-segment residential community.
It will be complemented by commercial centers and interconnected by modern infrastructure and sustainable green and open space.
“Together with Ixidor Holdings, our trusted partner in CHDI, we are committed to creating a model Cebuano township that is built for the future, where a combination of economic, social and environmental benefits will be felt for many generations,” Soberano said.
CLI currently has 127 residential, mixed-used, hotels and resorts and township projects in different stages of development across 18 key cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
CLI has lined up 12 new projects worth P29 billion for the second half that will bring residential, mixed-use and hotel properties to key areas like Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Ormoc and Palawan.
