MANILA, Philippines — The mobility solutions arm of the Ayala Group is doubling down on growth by expanding its market share and increasing its headcount.

In a statement yesterday, ACMobility said it has made gains in both its business and people agenda since its rebrand in March last year.

In particular, ACMobility’s market share climbed to eight percent in the second quarter from 4.9 percent last year.

It also saw organizational growth with its headcount rising to over 1,600 by mid-2025 from 1,370 in 2023.

By the end of the year, ACMobility’s goal is for its headcount to surpass 1,700.

ACMobility said its growth was “driven largely by the expansion of the BYD brand and the mobility infrastructure group.”

Apart from business growth, ACMobility has also been recognized for its transformation strategy.

In particular, ACMobility was honored with the Excellence in Business Transformation award, while its CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala was named Most People-Focused CEO at the HR Excellence Awards held last month.

It was also awarded Bronze for Best Transformation Strategy at the Stevie Awards for Great Employers in New York.

Earlier this year, the Employees’ Compensation Commission commended ACMobility for its Return-to-Work Assistance Program supporting persons with work-related disabilities, reflecting the company’s commitment to inclusivity and care.

“Being recognized in our first full year of transformation reflects the dedication of our people and our commitment to redefining mobility and reshaping the experience. At ACMobility, transformation is not just about business, it’s about empowering people, creating sustainable solutions and leading the way for the industry,” Zobel said.

Ariane Nava, chief people officer at ACMobility said the achievements show that transformation begins with people.

“By building a culture of inclusion, wellbeing and growth, we empower every ACMobilizer to bring their best selves to work and to our customers. This is what makes our movement real and what will carry us forward as we shape a sustainable mobility ecosystem,” Nava said.

ACMobility serves as the distributor of Kia, Volkswagen and BYD passenger cars in the Philippines. It also operates the largest dealer network for Honda and Isuzu in the country.

To support the Philippines’ shift to electrified mobility, ACMobility is also developing and managing electric vehicle charging stations.
