2GO powers logistics needs of online sellers in Centarl Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — 2GO, the logistics and solutions company of the SM Group, has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to help online entrepreneurs in Central Luzon move their products across the country.
In a statement, the company said over 50 entrepreneurs participated in its 2GO Getters Biz Exchange Workshop in Clark, Pampanga.
Workshop attendees had the opportunity to participate and gain insights into the tips and tricks of establishing an online presence, effective online merchandising, and understanding the crucial role of the shipping and delivery experience.
“Attending workshops like this is crucial for business owners, especially micro and small entrepreneurs. The workshop offers continuous guidance and keeps them abreast of the latest trends and techniques for efficient product advertising,” DTI- Central Luzon SME development division chief Patrick Serrano said.
“Partnering with a trusted logistics solutions provider is equally vital, as it helps ensure secure and reliable product delivery for seamless expansion and establishing a strong business foundation,” he added.
At the workshop, participants also included representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) along with beneficiaries, who were eager to acquire knowledge on business growth and enhance their skills as online entrepreneurs.
The 2GO Getters community was established to connect with small business owners and catalyze their growth by expanding into markets beyond their immediate neighborhoods.
The community promotes knowledge transfer in vital areas like e-commerce and digital marketing, aiming to maximize sales potential even for businesses situated in specific cities within the country.
As an inclusive community, 2GO Getters offers growth-centric workshops, seminars, online promotional campaigns, exclusive promotions and networking opportunities.
2GO said constant engagement with subject matter experts, like TikTok Shop, is prioritized during workshops to ensure businesses flourish in a fiercely competitive market.
“Our commitment to help boost the local MSME sector is not just about business—it’s about fueling dreams, building connections, and ultimately creating a better life. By supporting homegrown enterprises, we’re investing in innovation, creating opportunities, and laying a platform towards an inclusive and sustainable economic growth that benefits local communities and, hopefully, the nation as a whole,” 2GO president and CEO Frederic DyBuncio said.
2GO retail business unit head Blessie Cruz said that as a logistics solutions provider, the company perceives itself as facilitators for businesses, regardless of their size.
“Our role extends beyond merely moving goods; it involves fostering increased trade between regions. Positioned as a digital retail enabler, we seamlessly manage the movement of goods, facilitating successful transitions from online to offline purchases. Our primary focus is on supporting our partners’ operations and fostering seamless trade,” she said.
The logistics solutions provider highlighted that business owners in Central Luzon can transact at close to 200 2GO outlets in the region, including SM Business Centers in major SM malls.
