MANILA, Philippines — Globe Telecom Inc.’s shared services subsidiary Asticom is eyeing to expand to the rest of Southeast Asia as it continues to grow its operations in the country.

Asticom has grown extensively since its inception in 2015, with revenues reaching P2 billion as of the fourth quarter of 2021.

The company currently manages about 4,500 people and serves more than 120 clients from all over the country.

These accomplishments affirm Asticom’s standing as a key player in the local human resources, technology, engineering, and logistics solutions industries.

“This major milestone marks a momentous event in Asticom’s journey as a growing company. It is the fruit of the hard work and dedication of our people,” Asticom president and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes said.

“And despite the challenges of the past year, we stayed true to our purpose of supporting businesses and providing opportunities to Filipinos through a diverse business portfolio,” Castillo-Reyes said.

Globe said Asticom aims to capture a bigger market within the country and expand to the rest of Southeast Asia in the coming years.

The group is also gearing up to introduce new technologies and innovations to widen its scope of services.

Other than catering to large companies, Asticom seeks to support the advancement of small and medium-sized enterprises through tech-enabled solutions.

“The company sees an even brighter business outlook and greater success in the shared services market,” Globe said.

As a part of its growth, Asticom spawned four subsidiaries in just one year while in the middle of a health crisis.

These were Asti Business Services Inc. (ABSI), Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), BRAD Warehouse and Logistics Services, and HCX Technology Partners Inc.

ABSI is a business process solutions company engaged in providing technology, software, and system solutions as well as development, integration, project management, and implementation services to various industries within the local and global markets.

FINSI offers end-to-end services and industry-specific solutions to telecommunications, tower, infrastructure, and technology, including construction, building, installation, and maintenance services.

It aspires to be the leading edge local solutions provider for the telecommunications and technology industries.

Meanwhile, BRAD provides end-to-end supply chain technology solutions to give customers the best logistics experience at an affordable price.

Its services are tailor-fit for different industries including e-commerce, food and beverage, health and wellness, and telecommunications.

On top of these new ventures, Asticom acquired HCX from Ayala Corp. under ABSI.

HCX has been providing human resources, customer relationship management, and digital solutions to its clients since 2016.
