SM Group bags 15 awards from HK’s CG Asia magazine
MANILA, Philippines — Conglomerate SM Investments Corp. (SMIC) and subsidiaries BDO Unibank Inc. and SM Prime Holdings Inc. won a total of 15 awards in the 10th Asian Excellence Awards 2020 of Hong Kong magazine Corporate Governance Asia.
SMIC, BDO and SM Prime were awarded Asia’s Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Best Investor Relations (IR) Company.
SMIC, BDO and SM Prime executives were named as Asia’s Best Chief Executive Officers, namely, BDO chairperson Teresita Sy-Coson; SMIC president Frederic DyBuncio; BDO president and CEO Nestor Tan and SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim. Awarded Asia’s Best Chief Financial Officer is Dalmacio Martin, BDO executive vice president and treasurer.
Named Best Investor Relations (IR) Professionals were Tim Daniels, IR Consultant for SMIC and Luis Reyes Jr.; vice president of IR and Corporate Planning at BDO.
SMIC and SM Prime were cited for Best Corporate Communications.
The Asian Excellence Awards were designed to recognize the achievements and excellence in management acumen, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and investor relations.
