Toyota offers digital tool to book service appointments

MANILA, Philippines — The country’s leading automotive firm Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. (TMP) is rolling out a new digital tool today to make it easier for customers to maintain Toyota vehicles amid the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19 outbreak.   

Available this week, digital tool MyToyota PH will allow customers to book service appointments with dealerships in general community quarantine areas.

“As the world is on a standstill due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, TMP is quick to recognize the changing needs of its customers for after-sales service. Toyota owners can now book their service appointments safely anytime, anywhere,” TMP said. 

To use MyToyota PH, Toyota customers will need to create an account on http://mytoyota.ph/ and register their vehicles. 

For easier access to MyToyota PH, customers can add the tool to their mobile device’s home screen through the browser’s settings.

After completing the registration process, customers can immediately set up an appointment by choosing their preferred dealers and sending direct messages. 

As the tool has a reminders feature, customers would be notified one day as well as an hour prior to their appointment. 

Customers can also see the job items and service cost using MyToyota PH. 

While use of MyToyota PH is limited to dealers allowed to open for now, the plan is to make the service booking available in all Toyota dealerships nationwide when restrictions are lifted. 

To ensure the health and safety of customers and employees as well as implementation of social distancing, Toyota dealerships will be accommodating only confirmed service appointments.
