LIST: Bank schedules for Holy Week 2018

Ahead of the observance of Holy Week, Philippine banks have advised its clients to schedule transactions accordingly to avoid inconvenience and late charges.

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED 11:50 a.m., March 28, 2018) — Ahead of the observance of Holy Week, a number of banks announced a halt in their operations during the religious holiday.
 
Malacañang earlier announced March 29, Maundy Thursday, and March 30, Good Friday, as regular non-working holidays.
 
The banks then advised its clients to schedule transactions accordingly to avoid inconvenience and late charges.
 
Here are the schedules of banks:
 
Banco de Oro
  • Branches of BDO Unibank will be closed from Maundy Thursdya (March 29) to April 1 (Easter Sunday).

  • On the other hand, electronic banking channels and services are ready to accept and process transactions except for a few hours in the morning of March 30 (Good Friday) due to a regular network maintenance activity.

  • From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m, the following will be temporarily unavailable:

  • Offsite ATMs (not located at the branch)

  • Debit POS

  • Phone banking, mobile banking, personal and business online banking

  • BDO Debit and cash card transactions at other banks' ATMs and POS here and abroad.

  • ATMs onside located at the branch will be unavailable only from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. 

BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank
  • All branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1)

  • Regular operations will resume on Monday (April 2)

China Bank
  • All branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29)  to Easter Sunday (April 1)

  • Branches with Saturday banking will be closed on March 31 (Black Saturday)

  • Regular operations will resume on Monday (April 2)

Land Bank of the Philippines 

  • All Landbank branches nationwide will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1)

  • ATMs will remain available for withdrawal transactions. Clients may continue to transact through Landbank's electronic banking channels

  • Check clearing will be suspended on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday while checks received after cut-off time, March 28, will be process on Monday.

  • Normal banking operations will resume on Monday, April 2. 

Metrobank
  • Selected branches will be open from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1)

  • Check deposits and payments received after cut-off on Holy Wednesday (March 28) shall be processed on Easter Sunday 

  • The bank's Contact Center will be available except on Good Friday (March 30)

  • All E-Channels such as Metrobank Direct Online Banking and mobile banking, Metrophone ATMs will be available 24/7

Philippine National Bank

  • Most branches of PNB would be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1.)
  • The list of domestic and overseas branches which are open to serve during Holy Week was posted on their Facebook page: Holy Week banking schedule.

RCBC

  • RCBC branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Black Saturday (March 31).

  • Normal banking operations will resume on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Security Bank

  • Security Bank branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1).

  • Only NAIA and NAIA Terminal 3 branches will be open on Black Saturday and Easter Sunday (March 31 and April 1, 2018) from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

  • During these days, Security Bank Online and all Security Bank ATMs will be available for its clients' banking needs.

  • Regular operations of all branches will resume on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Union Bank

  • All Union Bank branches will be closed from Maundy Thursday (March 29) to Easter Sunday (April 1)
