Spontaneity expands in Phl

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Spontaneity Inc., the country’s latest franchise-advocacy firm founded in 25th July 2012, launched its franchise expansion program this year to empower local entrepreneurs towards achieving their goals of self-reliance amidst corporate growth.

The firm, headed by young Filipino entrepreneurs, led by Jefferson Yuhengco, Christopher Go, Jerome Tiu, Frederick Ulili, Mark Baquiran, Juan Paulo Antonio Ricafort Reyes and Christian Esquivel Narvasa, envisions itself as one of the most recognizable companies nurturing innovative business concepts, incorporating the ideals of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for the Philippine food service industry in the next ten years.

“Spontaneity Inc. aims to infuse concrete concepts in order to create unique and innovative businesses vis-a-vis the natural environment for the country’s food service industry,” says its corporate mission.

During its first two years, it conceptualized and opened “ThirsTEA Café” in strategic areas of Metro Manila such as at SM City Sta. Mesa, and reginal areas such as Antipolo and Sta. Maria Bulacan. The latest this June 2014 is near Ateneo de Zamboanga at Campaner St. Corner Nuñez St., Zamboanga City, providing tea beverages for a balanced target-market who loves its healthy and unique tea concoctions.

“We believe that our people are the key to our success therefore we are dedicated in nurturing a corporate culture that empowers people to showcase their unique, personal passion and expertise toward achieving our mission and vision, towards achieving client satisfaction,” Yuhengco emphasized.

In its effort to promote a successful Franchise Chain, the firm seeks to get beyond its borders and comfort zones, to enable it to deliver products that may have the possibility of changing the status quo, and come up with enough flexibility to capitalize on the opportunities that may come its way.

Part of its growth strategy, includes what the firm has zeroed in, namely its “backward integration” plan. Here, the company plans to distribute milk tea raw materials, supplies and equipment to other milk tea shops in Metro Manila, while its related diversification program includes plans to develop other food and beverage related businesses in the future including, but not limited to: restaurants (in various cuisines), coffee houses and bakeshops.

“ThirsTEA Café” envisions becoming the tea shop of choice for tea enthusiasts both old and new, within Metro Manila in the next five years, believing that its key competitive advantage is based on empowering customers to customize their tea beverages (all beverages are incorporated with tea). It is also noted that, “ThirsTEA Café” provides one of the biggest cups of tea within Metro Manila, at 24-ounces, and has its own Research & Development (R & D) Department which develops new products unique to “ThirsTEA Café” such as the “ThirsTEA ‘Zert Teas” while  promoting health via the well-known health benefits of tea in general. Besides ThirsTEA Café, the company has also launched a new franchise brand - “Siotea Dimsum and Tea House”, its located at G/F Paramount Bldg, EDSA corner West Ave., Qeuzon City.
