MANILA, Philippines -  The Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) will hold the 42nd National Marketing Conference (NMC) on June 23 to 24 at the Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Pasay City. Dubbed True Marketing Stories Exposed: Revealing Secrets for Business Success, the conference seeks to enhance the business profitability of the SME sector by providing its participants with practical tips that can be applied to their enterprises in an inspiring, success story-like manner. Henry Tenedero, director-in-charge of the 42nd NMC, said the PMA gave a special focus on SMEs because 95 percent of businesses in the country today are SME in character. “You can just imagine the amount of public goodwill and social impact if PMA can enhance the SMEs marketing skills and capabilities,” he said, adding that the conference aims to provide the SME sector with ways to spur economic growth in the communities it serve by providing countless jobs and improving the general well being of the people.
