Ducks Unlimited celebrates 14 years of success with a grand anniversary sale in all its boutiques. The many uses of bamboo

Laguna Lake Development Authority general manager Edgardo C. Manda will talk about the many uses of bamboo at the UE National Service Training Program (UE-NSTP) lecture-forum — where he is the guest speaker. Manda, a UE alumnus, will explain the socio-economic and ecological aspects and other uses of the bamboo (bambusoideae, locally known as kawayan) and promote bamboo for the reforestation of the watershed of the Laguna de Bay. The UE-NSTP lecture-forum, to be participated in by hundreds of UE students, will be held at the UE Theater on Nov. 22, 2 to 5 p.m., sponsored by the UE Marketing Department and the UE Office of Extension and Community Outreach (OECO).
