Adamson University kumambiyo matapos ma-bash online

MANILA, Philippines — Nagpalabas  kahapon ng panibagong memorandum ang Adamson University sa isyu ng precautionary measures kaugnay sa 2019 novel coronavirus (nCoV) na nagre-require sa lahat ng estudyante, staff at stakeholders taliwas sa unang inisyu na para  lamang sa mga Chinese students.

Ang paglilinaw sa addendum Memorandum no. 01 s. 2020, ay bilang karagdagan matapos ma-bash ng netizens  dahil sa ‘racism’ umano ang nasabing advisory na inisyu nitong January 31 na nag-aatas sa Chinese students na mag-observe ng self quarantine sa loob ng dalawang linggo bilang precautionary measure laban sa nasabing virus.

“All student, staff and stakeholders who have tra­velled to and from countries with confirmed cases of 2019 nCoV, including China and/or Hongkong within the last month, or who may have in close contact or had direct exposure to a potential source of infection during their travel abroad...”

Nabatid na nagpalabas agad ng advisory ang Office of the President Adamson, isang araw matapos magkumpirma ang Department of Health (DOH) ng unang kaso ng nCoV sa bansa na isang Chinese national na babaeng nakaratay sa San Lazaro Hospital.

Sa addendum advisory, pinayuhan ang concerned na magpakonsulta at mag-self quarantine sa loob ng 14 na araw.

“Clarification is herebey issued that Chinese students and guests who are not limi­ted by the above condictions are not covered by the self-quarantine advisory.
