Police visibility sa campus ‘di sagot sa NPA recruitment
MANILA, Philippines — Hindi kumbinsido ang Malacañang sa panukalang payagan sa mga school campus ang mga pulis upang mapigilan ang recruitment ng mga estudyante na sumali sa mga organisasyong prente ng communist movement.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, ang presensiya ng pulisya sa mga campus ay epektibo upang pigilan ang krimen subalit ang recruitment ng NPA ay hindi nito mapipigilan.
Dagdag pa ni Panelo, ang recruitment ng mga organisasyon sa mga kabataang estudyante ay sikreto kaya hindi sagot ang police visibility.
“Suggestion natin sa parents, they have to tell their children that the ideology is passe, and they should not entertain joining any subversive organization. If the left-leaning organization is found to be allied with orgs that are subversive of our democratic society then that is wrong and illegal,” dagdag ni Panelo.
