Serbisyo ‘excellent’: Taguig City panalo vs red tape

MANILA, Philippines – Pumasok sa pang-15 mula sa 182 lungsod sa buong mundo ang Valenzuela City sa Numbeo.com’s health care index 2016 kung saan ay naungusan pa nito ang mauunlad na lungsod sa buong mundo, ayon kay Valenzuela City 1st district Rep. Win Gatchalian.

Nitong Enero 22, nalampasan ng Valenzuela ang mga mauunlad na lungsod tulad ng Boston, Massachusetts(16th), Vienna, Austria (17th), Edinburgh, United Kingdom (22nd), Tokyo, Japan (23rd), Melbourne, Australia (24th), at Copenhagen, Denmark (25th).

“A crucial element in breaking the intergenerational poverty cycle is to provide excellent healthcare services so indigent families won’t have to shell out money anymore-- money that could have been spent on their children’s education and other basic needs,” wika pa ni Rep. Gatchalian, na nagsilbing 3 terminong alkalde ng Valenzuela.

Nagpasalamat si Gatchalian sa lahat ng nakapansin sa effort ng city government ng Valenzuela para mapaunlad pa ang healthcare services nito para paglingkuran ang mamamayan lalo ang mga poor families.

Sa health care index ng Asya ay nasa pampito naman ang Valenzuela mula sa 50 lungsod kung saan ay naungusan pa nito ang Tokyo, Japan (10th), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (12th), at Hong Kong (14th).

Magugunita na noong nakaraang taon ay hini­rang na grand prize award ang Valenzuela sa Kalusugan Pangkalahatan. Kinilala din noong 2013 ang geriatric program ng Valenzuela na “Dalaw ni Dok kay Lolo at Lola.
