Task force giumol aron bantayan ang presyo ug suplay sa isda

CEBU, Philippines — Hugot nga bantayan sa Cebu Provincial Government ang presyo ug suplay sa isda sa tibuok probinsya.Usa ka Executive Order ang gipirmahan ni Gov. Pamela Baricuatro nga nag-umol sa Bantay Presyo Isda Program ug nagtukod sa Cebu Task Force “Magwayen.”

Pinaagi sa task force, regular nga bantayan ang presyo sa isda sa mga piniling landing centers, fish ports, public markets, wholesale markets ug retail outlets, lakip ang gidaghanon ug availability sa suplay sa mga dagkong trading centers.

Apil sa programa ang mga dagkong isda ug fishery commodities nga gibaligya sa Cebu, lakip ang high-value o premium fish species, major commodity fish species ug uban pang priority fisheries commodities nga ilhon sa task force base sa ilang importansya sa merkado.

Matud sa EO, ang pag-usab-usab sa presyo sa isda mahimong maapektuhan sa supply ug demand, seasonality, weather disturbances, gasto sa transportasyon ug logistics, fishing conditions, post-harvest losses ug market concentration.

Kabahin usab sa mandato sa task force ang pag-ila sa mga hinungdan sa dagko o dili kasagarang pagsaka sa presyo ug ang pagtukod og standardized Cebu Fish Price Monitoring System.

Ang Provincial Agriculture Office maoy magsilbing secretariat sa Task Force Magwayen ug magmintinar og provincial database alang sa presyo ug suplay sa isda, market observations, reklamo, imbestigasyon ug mga aksyong gihimo.

Ubos sa EO, mahimong mo-rekomendar ang task force og market linkage, direct selling, supply augmentation ug alternatibong sources sa isda kung gikinahanglan base sa kahimtang sa merkado ug sa anaa nga pondo ug balaod.

Mahimo usab kining mo-rekomendar og pagpaayo sa cold-chain ug storage facilities, mga lakang aron maminusan ang post-harvest losses, consumer information campaigns, mas hugot nga monitoring ug koordinasyon sa national supply programs.

Si Baricuatro ang chairperson sa Task Force Magwayen samtang si Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Roldan H. Saragena ang vice-chairperson. Lakip sa mga miyembro ang provincial legal officer, provincial planning and development coordinator, hepe sa PDRRMO, Provincial Economic Enterprise Office, chairperson sa Committee on Agriculture nga si Board Member Cesar Baricuatro, ug mga representante sa BFAR, DTI-Cebu, Philippine Coast Guard-Cebu, Cebu Port Authority ug League of Municipalities of the Philippines-Cebu Chapter.
