MANILA, Philippines — Presidential daughter Veronica “Kitty” Duterte and mother Honeylet Avanceña recently bonded by touring the historical Great Wall of China.
The mother-daughter bonding of Kitty and Honeylet coincided with President Rodrigo Duterte’s attendance to the Belt and Road Forum held in Beijing on May 14 to 15.
Kitty joined her mother Honeylet and the 19 others spouses of government leaders and state heads as they toured the Forbidden City and visited a World Heritage site last Monday.
Thirteen-year-old Kitty shared the photos of their Great Wall of China tour in her personal Instagram.
“It's been 7 years since we last went here,” she wrote.
Prior to their trip to Beijing, Honeylet and Kitty also joined the president in his trips to Cambodia and Hong Kong. The president, last Friday, shared that he and his family made a stop in Hong Kong to rest and maybe visit some overseas Filipino workers.
