Shangri-La’s Mactan offers more perks for meet organizers

MANILA, Philippines - Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu offers additional incentives for organizers to hold their meetings at the resort.

With the resort’s “Meetings in Mactan” offer, meeting organizers not only enjoy preferential room and meeting rates, but can also choose any three from a selection of complimentary add-ons. These perks include CHI, The Spa treatments and roundtrip airport shuttle transfers for the organizer, as well as special savings on food and beverage, spa and other hotel services.

For a minimum of 10 guestrooms, organizers can have more add-ons for their group, such as 20 percent savings on all Business Center services; one round of complimentary drinks upon the guests’ arrival; and a special rate for cocktails, including open bar and pass-around canapés, at Waves Bar.

For a minimum of 30 guestrooms, group choices include complimentary upgrade to one themed coffee break or 20 percent savings on water sport activities and regular treatments at CHI, The Spa.

The add-on options for a minimum of 50 guestrooms include a complimentary round of iced tea during the group’s lunch; a complimentary hour of cocktails, including standard drinks and local beers, in a venue designated by the hotel; or 25 percent savings on regular treatments at CHI, The Spa.

Organizers are spoiled for choice with the resort’s indoor meeting facilities, including the Mactan and Rosal ballrooms; seven convertible meeting rooms; and The Marquee, a fully air-conditioned tent that spans 1,156 square meters. All function spaces feature the latest audiovisual equipment and are equipped with complimentary wired and Wi-Fi Internet access.

The resort’s dedicated events management team is on hand to ensure a seamless event every time.

Whole-day and half-day meeting packages include use of the function space, snack breaks, buffet lunch, free-flowing coffee and tea, an LCD projector and screen, and meeting amenities.

The rate for the whole-day meeting package is P3,000 net per person, while the half-day meeting package is at P2,500 net. Venues are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
