Altamirano, Ildefonso beef up Aces bench

MANILA, Philippines — Two-time PBA champion coach Eric Altamirano and two-time PBA MVP winner Danny Ildefonso are making PBA comeback as they beef up the Alaska Milk bench led by head coach Alex Compton.

Altamirano and Ildefonso, along with newly retired former Alaska skipper Tony dela Cruz, will be filling the spots vacated by Louie Alas and Topex Robinson who moved over to Phoenix Petroleum.

Compton and Altamirano have worked together in the National Basketball Training Center of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas where the latter was the project director.

Altamirano is bringing with him a rich coaching experience, including championships with Purefoods and Mobiline in the PBA and a title run with National U in the UAAP.
