‘Digmaan’ stagfest at PCC today
MANILA, Philippines — The PFGB National Digmaan 11-stag derby gets going today with members of the Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) heading the roster of participants at the Pasay City Cockpit.
The event, organized by the Pambansang Federation ng Gamefowl Breeders, Inc. (PFGB) headed by Wilson Ong, is offering a total pot P60 million.
Others fielding in their aces in the three-stag derby backed by Sagupaan Complexor 3000 are the top breeders from the Big City.
Meanwhile, LGBA president Nick Crisostomo said a three-stag elims (open to non–members) will also be held on Nov. 25 at the Sta. Monica Cockpit and on Nov. 27 and Dec. 4 at Pasay Cockpit.
The semifinals will be held on Dec. 8 and finals (4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 and 6 points) on Dec. 11 with the grand finals (6.5 and 7 points) slated on Dec. 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Meanwhile, the first LGBA Off Color (No Red) four-stag derby will be held on Oct. 27 also at the PCC.
