Castro makes up for dismal Game 3

MANILA, Philippines – Call it a make-up performance. Call it a takeover. Or better yet, view it as Asia's Best Point Guard coming to his senses.
After a dismal Game Three, Jayson Castro took matters to his own hands to propel TNT past San Miguel in Wednesday night's Game Four hostilities.
"As a veteran, syempre alam ko naman na ang sama ng nilaro ko nung Game Three so nag-apologize ako sa mga teammates ko," the KaTropa guard said.
"Dapat ako yung leader, yung mindset ko nandun. So this game sabi ko sa kanila, babawi ako," he added.
Castro committed 10 turnovers in Game Three last Sunday despite posting 17 points.
And coming off the bench also served him well, he said.
"Siguro 'yun din 'yung isang dahilan--na tignan 'yung first quarter, 'yung first three minutes, four minutes nung game, tignan 'yung ginagawa nila defensively," Castro said. "Malaking tulong din."
The shifty cager unloaded 10 of his total 17 points on the final frame to tie the game in the 6th minute marker of Game Four. When the final buzzer ended, they wound up with the vitory--and an equal series record.
"Never akong nagdemand na i-start ako, na off the bench ako. As long as makakatulong sa team, willing ako to sacrifice lahat," Castro said.
