Title defense not yet in F2 Logistics' mind
MANILA, Philippines — Defending Philippine Superliga champions F2 Logistics Cargo Movers have modest expectations this season.
F2 head coach Ramil de Jesus said that their goal for now is to reach the semifinals.
"Top Four, yun muna yung target. Kung bibigyan ng pagkakataon, tsaka na namin problemahin [yung title defense]," de Jesus said after thrashing Cherrylume Iron Lady Warriors, 25-5, 25-10, 25-11, in the 2017 PSL All-Filipino Conference Tuesday.
"Kailangan medyo mataas din kailangan laruin kasi pagdating ng quarterfinals hindi ganun yung makakalaban mo eh," he added.
Against Cherrylume, De Jesus used his full rotation, with each player contributing a point.
Kim Dy led the scoring with 11 points while Aby Maraño, Desiree Cheng and Majoy Baron chipped in nine each.
F2 Logistics finished the eliminations with 1-3 win-loss standing, relegated themselves to pool D with Sta. Lucia, Cocolife and Cherrylume.
