Blatche will also miss last two games

TAIPEI – Gilas Pilipinas naturalized player Andray Blatche will be missing the 2015 Jones Cup altogether.

Blatche will no longer be able to play a single game since he will only arrive here Sunday night when Team Phl will have played all eight matches in the single-round-robin competition among nine teams.

Originally, he’s set to return here Saturday after attending the funeral of an uncle back in the US.

But Blatche had to re-book flight ticket to be with his ailing mother as they return home from New York.

In missing the Jones Cup, Gilas Pilipinas will have only three more warm-up games with Blatche in the MVP Cup in Manila from Sept. 11-13.

Blatche has played three previous games in Estonia against the Netherlands, Iceland and the home team.
