The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Global car brand Chevrolet made waves in the recent Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2014.

With visitors breaking the 100,000 mark, MIAS 2014 witnessed a showcase of Chevrolet’s innovative cars and trucks highlighted by Chevrolet’s Turbo-Diesel Powerhouse Team:  the Trailblazer, the Colorado and the Spin.

To show off its iconic style and its partnership with the latest Marvel franchise, Chevrolet displayed a customized Colorado fitted with loud-and-proud Captain America decals, likening the truck’s dependable power, rock-solid performance, durability and heroism akin to Captain America. Visitors of the show also caught glimpses of the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1—better known as Bumblebee, one of the lead characters of the blockbuster movie series: Transformers. A Bumblebee cosplayer even graced the Chevrolet booth to entertain the crowd.

And to let visitors experience its award-winning car models first hand, Chevrolet put up the 2013-2014 Car Awards Group Inc. (CAGI) Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) of the Year, the Trailblazer, and its All-around Utility Vehicle (AUV), the Spin, for test drives during the 4-day event.
