Fashion’s Style Prodigy

Every once in a while, a young up-and-comer with something to say comes and shakes things up in the industry she’s in. One such mover and shaker is fashion designer Rosenthal Tee, who has draped some of Manila’s brightest celebrities for editorial shoots, awards shows, and many other events—after only four years in the business. Shortly after graduating in 2013 from the London campus of Istituto Marangoni, where she finished her MA in Fashion Design Womenswear, Rosenthal established her eponymous clothing label, Rosenthal Tee, which produces luxury ready-to-wear and bespoke eveningwear. She recently put her skills in full display as she participated in FASHIONCANSERVE, an annual fundraising initiative organized by the ICANSERVE Foundation to raise awareness for early breast cancer detection. Held at Raffles Makati, the talented designer not only got to showcase her latest collection, she also lent her talents to a worthwhile advocacy.

Quezon (Tayabas) Association Inc. (QTA), one of the country’s oldest active associations, celebrated its 94th founding anniversary at the Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City. With the theme Celebrating Our Journey, Unveiling Our Future, QTA looked back on its long history of leadership and public service and recognized its members’ dedication and commitment to the organization’s purpose and mission. Led by QTA gentleman president Alexis Cataquiz and lady president Rowena Palmiery-Bayoneta, this year’s fundraising event was in support of QTA’s Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) Facility Project for the benefit of Quezon Medical Center. Established in 1923, the QTA was founded by no less than the illustrious son of the province and president of the First Commonwealth of the Philippines, Manuel Quezon.

The Perfect Eight
Party host extraordinaire Minerva Tanseco recently gathered eight of her friends who are celebrating their birthdays near to each other for a delightful gathering. Held at Gaita Fores’ Alta restaurant at the Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila in Taguig, the host and her guests enjoyed a sumptuous array of Thai food and each other’s wonderful company. Salut to all the celebrators!
