Aide is arguably the Philippines' first home medical care app.

Philippines' first home medical care app

A Filipino physician, Dr. Patrick, and his siblings Paolo and Pamela Bugayong, have recently created Aide, arguably the Philippines' first home medical care app.

Users of the app can get quality medical care from qualified medical practitioners straight from their smartphone. The app allows users to search, choose, and book medical practitioners for quality medical care from the comfort of their home.

For doctors, nurses, and other medical practitioners, including veterinarians, the app provides a platform that allows them to meet and treat more patients at their own pace—especially the elderly and home bound, who have difficulty going to the hospital.

The Bugayong siblings understand the difficulties of providing quality care at the hands of those who truly need it and saw the problems in our current medical situation in the Philippines: long queues, traffic congestion, lack of efficient care, the convenience of receiving this care at home; thus, they created the app as a solution to everyone's medical needs.

Eatigo is a platform of choice for diners across the region.

The food lovers’ app

Eatigo is a platform of choice for diners across the region- Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and as of its soft launch earlier this July, it claims to have become number 1 in both the App Store and the Play Store charts for food and beverages as Filipinos’ most loved app in restaurant reservations.

“I am glad that we have finally launched in the Philippines and I am proud to share that Metro Manila had one of the strongest launches in our history. With the enthusiastic response from Filipino diners, the app is on track to seat over 100,000 diners in our first month. It really is a testament to how much Filipinos love food,” says co-founder and chief executive officer Michael Cluzel.

The app aims to elevate the dining experience through a seamless and fuss-free reservation process with no pre-payments and no vouchers needed. Through the mobile app, diners can browse and reserve their favorite restaurants. After the reservation, the diner just needs to show up at the restaurant, order any dish on the menu and enjoy their food. Their discount will be automatically reflected in the bill.

The app’s list of restaurant partners in the Philippines is rapidly and steadily growing every day and could reach at least several hundred restaurant partners by the end of the year. These partner restaurants range from homey hole in the wall joints like Sweet Ecstasy to crowd favorites like CIBO and Ramen Nagi to premium establishments like Heat in EDSA Shangri-la Hotel Manila and Food Exchange at Novotel Araneta Center Cubao.

Making sending money easier

As Filipinos have been sending money to their loved ones in the provinces, having an app that has a feature of sending money from app to app makes money transfer transactions so much easier.

That is why M Lhuillier recently created the ML Wallet. It is an innovation created to deliver fast, secure, convenient, and reliable way of sending money, paying bills and even loading mobile devices.

Just like most apps, ML Wallet requires the user to register.  Nonetheless, as a regulatory requirement, a user must visit an M Lhuillier branch to complete the registration. Once registered, the app is ready to go.

To start off, visit any of the branch, complete a cash load-up, and you are set to transfer cash to anyone, anywhere in the country. It is even possible to do a transfer from one ML Wallet to another user, making it a cashless and safe transaction.

Additionally, you do not need to travel and fall in line to settle your bills. With this app, you can pay your electricity, water and telephone bills, and also buy cellphone load.
