Wait over for 'Pokémon Go' in the Philippines
MANILA, Philippines – The long wait is over for “Pokémon Go” fans in the Philippines.
The hit, augmented reality mobile game from Nintendo and developer Niantic Labs was finally launched in the country on Saturday.
The app, in which players roam around the real-life world to collect virtual monsters and medals, is available for download by iOS and Android users at no charge through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The "Pokémon Go" mania which is sweeping the globe is also out on Saturday in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia and Palau.
